I’m very grateful that I had Carmela on my side for one of the biggest purchases of my life. Carmela is very knowlegable, responsive, a great negotiator and a wonderful human being.
She walked me through the house buying process step by step and helped me understand everything I was signing. We were able to view all the houses I wanted to see and we put in a winning offer on the first try. It was very helpful that Carmela had some examples for intro letters for sellers which I didn’t know about it before. I was able to call her with questions at any time of the day and weekends and she made sure all our deadlines were met. She was also overseeing the inspections and checked in often with the other agent about the repairs. She also looked out for every opportunity to negotiate in my behalf. In the end I got a very low interest rate thanks to Carmela who negotiated a seller rate buy down as well as a one year home warranty and more. I can tell that Carmela truly cared for me and my well being in my future home. I’m very thankful that we were able to work together. Carmela is so successful, selling gorgeous multi-million-dollar homes, yet she freely gives back to the larger community through serving folks like me, who came across unavoidable life obstacles and needed to access a non-profit mortgage lender to purchase a very small, little one-bedroom condominium.

Carmela always presented herself with a beautiful blend of high-end class and humility, genuine approachability, and respect with an authentically sweet spirit. She made me feel like I was purchasing a multi-million-dollar home!

Carmela’s skill and expertise as a Real Estate Agent is phenomenal! Her knowledge and negotiation skills, along with her concise articulation is quite impressive. She certainly knows the times that call for pushing hard and she always got results! Yet, even when a firm approach was needed to ensure time sensitive deadlines were honored, she is never without a calm, respectful delivery. What a pro!! Carmela represented my buyers in a recent real estate purchase transaction, and they were in the best of care! From writing the offer to handing them the keys at closing she prepared them ahead of time for every step in the homebuying process. To get them in to their dream home she had to beat out multiple other offers, and then she managed to negotiate over $22,000 in savings for the buyers! My husband and I bought a 4-plex and were blessed to have Carmela by our side the whole way. She carefully guided us through all the ins and outs of the process. This was our 1st time buying a home and Carmela made sure that we fully understood everything. She is someone who truly cares about you and what’s best for your family. I can’t say enough good things about her. The smartest thing we ever did was putting our trust completely in Carmela during the whole process. I’ll break it down into categories below so I don’t miss any details:

Local Knowledge:
With Carmela’s guidance we purchased a 4-plex in a very popular up and coming area. Carmela knew exactly what the local rents were and potential money coming into the area. Knowledge of local community and development plans, plus upcoming events such as the Olympics that will bring value and revenue to community.

Responsiveness:
Carmela was available via cell, text and email around the clock. She would always quickly respond, could answer all my questions and was ALWAYS pleasant. She consistently sent us new properties to check out and there were many times I called her at the crack of dawn.

Process Expertise:
Carmela walked us through the home buying process from A-Z. She also gave us tips to make our offers stand out, providing examples of intro letters to the seller. Our winning bid had a lot to do with the letter we wrote the seller. The property held a sentimental value to the seller and the letter we wrote touched her. Carmela didn’t hesitate and went to bat for us with our lender and convinced the seller to give us more time, after lender denied our loan. She supported us by following up with service providers; lenders, termite co, home inspectors, insurance, etc.,

Negotiating Skills:
Carmela was able to negotiate and get us the WINNING BID against 17 other offers, down to 3 multiple offers, one of our competitors was even an investor with a CASH offer. She then went on to negotiate another vacant unit in addition to the vacant studio in a Rent Control area!!!! She was also able to keep escrow going after the cancellation of out first contract. Carmela is a real-estate genius and kept us 2 steps ahead of the seller at all times and was always thinking outside the box to get us into our dream home. In the end she was able to save us $10k in sellers credits and had the seller pay 2k for our title policy.

I am so grateful to have had Carmela at my side through one of the largest purchases of my life. As a first time home buyer, the real estate process, forms, documents and deadlines were often daunting and confusing. Carmela does a great job of guiding, supporting and advocating for her clients, every step of the way. Carmela also looks for every opportunity to negotiate on behalf of her clients. Not only is she sweet, kind and approachable but also a tough and thorough negotiator.

In my case, Carmela not only helped obtain a fair price for my HOI but also helped with seller concessions such as credits, additional monies towards repairs, an owners title policy to protect me and an additional warranty which amounted to close to $30,000 in savings, if not more.

Carmela is also a great resource, advisor and support, she was on call to take care of anything that came up, listened to me vent, is responsive even when on vacation and was my go to person for vendors, inspectors, and more affordable insurance companies. Carmela also knows when and who, to escalate issues to when they arise.

I highly recommend Carmela!! I couldn’t imagine this first time home purchase, let alone a purchase of a triplex without her. I am forever and eternally grateful.
